David has a background in academic research, science communication and publishing, and tech. Frustrated by how slow and fragmented the manuscript writing process was, he set out to build a tool that could help students and academics produce high quality work faster. He brings domain expertise in scientific methodology, citation standards, and the academic publishing pipeline.
Steven Grant
Co-Founder
Steven is a software engineer and product builder who has spent years creating tools that make complex workflows simpler. He leads the technical vision behind Paipers, from the AI integration and editor experience to the export pipeline. His focus is on building software that feels intuitive and gets out of the way so users can focus on their writing.
